DIRECTORY OF GENETIC CONDITIONS

The purpose of these directories is to provide genetic and rare disease support information to individuals , families, health professionals and Genetic and Rare Disease support groups. The directories may assist with referral for individuals and families with either a known or newly diagnosed genetic or rare condition or predisposition to these genetic conditions.

Community services can be very useful when either managing your own condition or when you are caring for a family member or a friend. In Victoria we have many great support services however it sometimes can be challenging to find the Community services that you need.

Resources for families

There are many support services available for those impacted by genetic and rare conditions including disability services, advocacy services, government agencies and respite. The GSNV has created a guide outlining a range of useful services and resources within Victoria or interstate that may be relevant to individuals impacted by genetic conditions.
