The GSNV often provides information to the health professional community. We do this in a number of ways.
We can provide:
- additional support for patients and clients through putting people in touch with support groups, or others who have similar experiences
- patient materials on a variety of topics. These are all located on our Genetic Link website. The Genetic Link is on-line repository which houses a
wide selection of accessible, useful and reliable resources for people impacted genetic conditions, and those who support them – support groups, carers, health professionals and the general community - links to health professional education tools on topics such as genetic testing and genomics. - information on referral pathways for clinical genetic services, mental health support and community services
- advocacy services
