Building confidence in COVID-19 vaccines for rare disease communities

Margie is a consultant paediatrician at the Royal Children’s Hospital and an A/Professor and Clinician Scientist, University of Melbourne and Murdoch Children’s Research Institute (MCRI).
As leader of the Vaccine Uptake Group, MCRI, her research focuses mainly on vaccine confidence, acceptance and uptake, particularly amongst high risk-groups and in low and middle-income countries.

The GSNV hosted Margie, who presented to our genetic, undiagnosed and rare disease patients, their carers and support teams to de-mystfy the COVID -19 vaccinations and answer specific questions relating to our specific cohort.
