Individuals and Families

Helping individuals and families to access services and connect with others is the core of GSNV's day-to-day activities.

The GSNV often receives phone calls and emails from individuals and family members in many different situations. These can include individuals with a newly diagnosed condition looking for information, people who have been living with a condition for many years and require additional help, or families where a diagnosis has not yet been reached.

If you, or someone you know, needs assistance regarding a genetic condition please contact us to see if we can help.

Sometimes people find it helpful to speak with others with a similar experience. If this is something you are interested in, you can visit our list of support groups, or contact us to see if we can put you in touch with someone.

The GSNV's website includes links to a variety of other internet sites. The presence of a link to an online resource does not represent an endorsement by the GSNV of that site or its content. The GSNV assumes no responsibility for the type, amount or quality of assistance, support or information service provided by other agencies or organisations.
