GSNV Family Day 2008
Sunday April 13, 2008
North Carlton Railway Station Neighbourhood House
Approximately 45 people attended the GSNV Family Day on April 13, 2008. The North Carlton Railway Station Community House turned out to be a very comfortable and fun venue with lots of outdoor space, but room inside for everyone when it started getting cold. Activities included giant bubbles, colouring in, badge making, bead and safety pin jewellery and a candy train competition. The adults enjoyed the activities as much as the children! We had a sausage sizzle, with some delicious fruit and pizza too, and a train cake. It was a really fun day, and we want to particularly thank all the people who came and helped, special thanks to our committee members and volunteers Tammy Allen, Rose Atkins, Michelle Howson, Andrew McLean, Elise McLellan, Tessa Raffainello, and Mrs McNamara and her son.
Thank you to Limnos Meats who donated sausages through Vassie Dandanis, and Victoria Market for the donation of fruit via Louisa Di Pietro. Maria Liistro kindly donated pizza, and Catherine McLean donated a train cake.
